My youngest daughter Micaela has Down Syndrome and global developmental delay. Just under seven years ago, she developed
sepsis and nearly died!
We spent the longest four days of my life in Hospital. During this difficult time, I wrote the song ‘Different’. I started writing it as a ‘cry for help’ for all children. It developed into what I thought Micaela (Miki) might say if she had a voice.
